{"id":1,"date":"2018-03-23T13:49:31","date_gmt":"2018-03-23T11:49:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/homeland.ua\/?p=1"},"modified":"2018-05-15T18:29:32","modified_gmt":"2018-05-15T15:29:32","slug":"%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%b8%d0%b2%d1%96%d1%82-%d1%81%d0%b2%d1%96%d1%82","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/homeland.ua\/en\/%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%b8%d0%b2%d1%96%d1%82-%d1%81%d0%b2%d1%96%d1%82\/","title":{"rendered":"Studio MM clads hudson Valley hillside cabin in blackened wood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Daniel Libeskind&#8217;s architecture firm has revealed it design for a faceted affordable housing block for seniors in Brooklyn&#8217;s Bed-Stuy neighbourhood.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Studio Libeskind has released three renderings of the 10-storey apartment block, which will be built on a plot in the Sumner Houses estate in Bedford-Stuyvesant \u2013 often shortened to Bed-Stuy.<\/p>\n<p>Although the firm designed the masterplan for the World Trade Center redevelopment, this housing block will be Studio Libeskind&#8217;s first building in New York City. Construction is set to begin in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The locally based firm has designed the building as part of a city-wide scheme to construct affordable housing for seniors on property owned by the New York City Housing Authority, known as Housing New York 2.0&#8217;s Seniors First.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring a white angular form, the block will contain 197 residential units that will all be affordable to &#8220;extremely low, very low, and low-income individuals&#8221; for the duration of the 99-year-long lease.
